My son took me to eat Valentine's evening, and we visited The Curry Kitchen for the first time. The staff were pleasant and helpful as we were clueless as to what to order. The restaurant was extremely clean and the food incredible! The butter chicken was so incredible, the mutton tender and tasty, definitely order garlic/butter Naan to eat with your dishes that come with white long rice. We ate a desert that was 2 sweet breaded balls smothered in a sweet type syrup(I forget the name). Delicious! I encourage everyone to try the restaurant and study the menu before you go. Serving sizes were great, too. The food was so great I forgot to take pictures properly.
Very pleased with our dinner here. The portions were huge, the staff was very friendly, the restaurant was clean, and the service was fast. We tried several things, the chicken hot and sour soup, Manchurian chicken, dosa, biryani, and tandoori chicken. Everything was delicious, had a perfect spice level, and had a great presentation. I would definitely recommend this place!
Fantabulous! I would happily give 10 **********. The whole experience was awesome. The owner was gracious and friendly. The food was delicious. The interior felt very warm and inviting. One of the finest restaurants we have visited so far in the entire world! All my family members had a great time there. We are coming back for sure if God wills.
Absolutely love my experience here! The food was incredible and went beyond my expectations! The tandoori wings were delicious! The staff members were so kind and went above and beyond to make sure even my two year old had a fantastic time! I will definitely be coming back and be recommending to every one! Already dreaming about what I’ll order next time!
The place didn't disappoint. Food is fresh and good. Me and my husband reminded us of the Indian restaurants we went to dine in London. We loved it. The service is great too. Good ambience. We will be back.
First time at this hidden gem in Tuscaloosa. Extensive menu with so many mouthwatering options it was difficult to choose. Owner kindly took his time with us to explain certain dishes and how they were prepared. The marsala chicken lollipops were so flavorful, spicy and did not disappoint. Grilled tandoori wings were more tame and also delicious. Variety of spice levels and depths of flavors. Clean, cozy but casual atmosphere with ample seating. Bar with wine and bottled beers, including Indian imports. Great anytime for eat in or take out. I think it may be a great option to beat the long waits downtown during game day weekends. We will definitely be back to support this local family owned business!

The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure everything was perfect. Now, let's talk about the FOOD! 🍴 The curry was RICH, CREAMY, and PACKED WITH FLAVOR! I got the chicken 65, Chicken Manchurian the Amul cheese nan with the chicken hakka noodles was TO DIE FOR! The naan was freshly baked and perfect for dipping in that flavorful, addictive delicious sauce! The ambiance was also on point - cozy, welcoming, and with a touch of Indian charm. It felt like I was transported to a different world! If you're looking for an authentic Indian food experience in Tuscaloosa, look no further! The Curry Kitchen is a MUST-VISIT!
I really enjoyed myself on my date with my husband. He ordered me butter chicken with an appetizer, wine, and water. The only negative I have is, after being told (there was a bite of back and forth) they actually have White Zinfandel I was brought a red wine. I thought it was Sangria (a more sweet red wine). But it was very bitter and dry and very hard for me to swallow. Overall, food was delicious. Customer Service amazing. Cleaniless good.
I do NOT leave reviews. Ever. The Curry Kitchen deserves recognition. By far the best Indian fare I have ever eaten, and I have been to quite a few Indian restaurants across the United States. We stopped here on a whim on a business trip and can’t stop talking about it. We had: Butter chicken Kadai Paneer Seafood Biryani Chilli Shrimp Mutton on the bone Garlic Naan We ate everything.
Best garlic naan I have ever had! Perfectly thin and crispy and chewy. We got the lamb biryani, butter chicken, and mutton curry. Definitely go here!!
